A General Overview of CLUE Linux

CLUE Linux consists of two software repositories, one that is public, and one that is private. The public repository (and build) is for students and faculty/staff who would like to install CLUE Linux in their own homes. The public version of CLUE Linux does not contain any licensed software. The private version of CLUE Linux, which is used on-campus in offices and labs, consists of the public release of CLUE Linux with additional private and licensed software, and central authentication and configuration.

The private software is kept on a password-protected apt repository to prevent unauthorized access.
